The spindle servo system of CNC machine tools is one of the important parts of machine tools, and its output performance affects the overall level of CNC machine tools.
In addition to requiring high speed accuracy, dynamic stiffness and high torque capacity for continuous output, spindle servo systems generally have to meet the following requirements.
- Power requirements, the main drive motor should have a power range of 2.2-250kW.
- A larger speed regulation range requires a large stepless speed regulation range, such as constant torque speed regulation and 1:10 constant power speed regulation within the range of 1:100-1:1000.
- The main drive is required to have a four-quadrant drive capability.
- Synchronous control requirements, in order to meet the thread turning requirements, the spindle and the feed are required to perform synchronous control.
- The requirements for high-precision directional positioning control, such as the automatic tool change of machining centers, some even require the spindle to have an angle indexing control function.
