The main shaft components of the CNC machine tool include the main shaft, the supporting bearings of the main shaft, and the transmission parts installed on the main shaft.
The spindle component is an important part of the machine tool, and the advanced nature of its structure has become one of the symbols to measure the level of the machine tool.
The main transmission modes of CNC machining centers are as follows:
Variable speed gear transmission mode
The main shaft motor is changed by a two-stage gear, so that the main shaft can obtain two speed series of low speed and high speed, making it a stepless speed regulation. After speed reduction through gear transmission, the output torque and speed adjustment range are expanded, especially the speed adjustment range of the spindle at constant power output, to meet the requirements of the spindle output torque characteristics, power characteristics and speed adjustment range. This configuration method is used more in large and medium-sized CNC machine tools.
Belt drive
The spindle motor transmits its motion to the spindle through the toothed synchronous belt with a fixed ratio transmission. This configuration mode has smooth transmission, simple structure, and convenient installation and debugging. It is mainly used in small CNC machine tools, but it is only suitable for spindles with low torque characteristics.
Speed-regulating motor direct drive mode
There are two types of this configuration. The output shaft of the spindle motor is directly connected to the spindle through a precision coupling. Its advantages are compact structure and high transmission efficiency. However, the change of the spindle speed and the torque output are completely consistent with the output characteristics of the motor, so it is subject to certain uses limit.
